As far as I’m aware, it’s been a while since there’s been an Ubuntu Release Party here in Sydney, so:
From: Melissa Draper To: ubuntu-au Subject: Ubuntu Release Party - Sydney - Saturday 25th of April Date: Fri, 10 Apr 2009 23:56:15 +1000 Greetings all, In less than two weeks time on the 23rd of April, Ubuntu 9.04 - aka the Jaunty Jackalope - will be making its debut. In celebration, from 4pm on Saturday the *25th of April*, Sydney's Ubuntu users and developers alike will be gathering down on Darling Harbour's King St Wharf, at the popular James Squire Brewhouse . Those with Ubuntu t-shirts are encouraged to wear them, and daring partygoers may even choose to dress up as with antler headbands or hats (like those ones from Christmas) as tribute to the mythical Jackalope. *WHERE* James Squire Brewhouse King St Wharf *WHEN* 4pm 25th April, 2009 http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/beta http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackalope http://www.jamessquirebrewhouse.net/sydney/index.php
